Valuable Goods
Security is especially relevant in transportation of valuable goods. At LAN CARGO
we take the
necessary preventive measures to offer maximum security in the transportation of
your valuables.
Definitions
Valuable cargo is referred to as any shipment containing one or more of the
following:

Any shipment with a declared value for carriage of over US$ 1,000 per
kilogram.

Gold in any form, platinum, and platinum metals (palladium, iridium, ruthenium,
osmium, and rhodium), excluding radioactive isotopes of the above mentioned metals and alloys
subject to dangerous goods regulation.

Legal banknotes traveler's cheques, securities, shares, share coupons, and stamps
(excluding mint stamps from United Kingdom) and ready for use bank cards and credit cards.

Precious stones: Diamonds, including industrial diamonds, sapphires, rubies,
emeralds, and real pearls, including cultivated pearls.

Jewelery, as well as gold and/or silver, and/or platinum watches.

Gold and platinum articles, other than gold and/or platinum plated.
