Cargo Calculations: Dimensional Weight
This tool will help you to make the necessary calculations to know the dimensional weight of
your cargo.
Note: Enter decimal numbers separated by a period (.)
The cubic volume of a shipment is established by applying the greatest length, the greatest
width and the greatest height of the shipment or its packages. The shipment shall be charged on
volume basis, if the extreme dimension of which results in an average of more than:
- 6.000 cubic centimeters per Kg.
- 366 cubic inches per Kg.
- 166 cubic inches per Pd.
Chargeable Weight
The chargeable weight is the actual gross weight or volume weight, whichever is higher.
Note: In case of decimal numbers, the dimensional weight will be rounded up the
number to the nearest whole. |
