Almost 80 years after its creation, LAN is proud to show its specialized air cargo transport company: LAN CARGO, which is regularly cited in the industry as an example in efficiency.

Through its regular flights or the combined use of its cargo and passenger aircraft fleet, as well as a network of agreements with other world class companies, LAN CARGO offers worldwide coverage.

With a self-owned fleet of latest generation aircrafts, 9 Boeing 767F were especially made especially for cargo transport. Within the next two years, LAN CARGO will begin adding 2 Boeing 777-200F aircrafts, the most modern cargo aircraft in its type, thus becoming one of the first airline companies to put it in service. A real highlight that confirms LAN CARGO's leadership position on a worldwide level.

LAN Alliance Members

LAN Alliance is the name given to an alliance formed by a network of Latin American airlines. Their common denominator is a shared way of doing things and a sense complementariness. Thus, the alliance can deliver service excellence to the markets each one of them serves.

In terms of passenger transport, the alliance is formed by LAN Airlines, LAN PERU, LAN ECUADOR, and LAN ARGENTINA. In the cargo area, the company is LAN CARGO, which in turn holds alliances with MAS AIR, a Mexican cargo airline, and ABSA, a Brazilian air cargo transport company.

In addition to this, the LAN Alliance incorporates an important network of commercial agreements with some of the world´s largest airline companies.
